Our first option is wide-leg trousers. Preferably in Blacks, Whites, Creams, or Navy. Or whichever colour is a staple in your wardrobe. The key is to get versatile colours so they can be easily mixed and matched to almost any outfit.
As for where to shop, I would recommend Zara, Cos, and Massimo Dutti for quality and timeless pieces. When looking for the perfect trousers try to invest in pieces that are made out of quality materials such as cotton twill, linen, cotton, and cotton gabardine. A pair of wide-leg trousers can immediately elevate your look with little effort.
Having a pair of light trousers as well as a darker-coloured one allows you to style an endless amount of outfits.
Straight Leg Denim Jeans
The Timeless Wardrobe simply cannot be complete without a pair of straight-leg jeans, a good pair of straight-leg jeans are the ultimate wardrobe staple. Their classic style and versatility will never go out of style, making them great for casual chic looks. Find a pair that fits you perfectly (it's all about the fit) and you'll be set for any occasion.
I would recommend a darker-washed pair of jeans as opposed to light-washed kinds. Darker washes have a more sophisticated feel, making them easier to dress up than lighter ones. The lighter- washed jeans have a much more relaxed and casual feel, making them perfect for brunches and strolls through the park.

A button-down shirt is one of those timeless wardrobe staples you can always rely on to look chic and elegant, no matter the occasion.
Ralph Lauren is one of my favourite designers when it comes to button-down shirts. Their shirts are always classic and elegant, and they always make a statement. To be honest I've got a little more than a couple in my own wardrobe and I think it might slightly be becoming an obsession.
