How to : The Vanilla Girl Aesthetic Guide

Hello everyone, and welcome to this week's blog post. Today I will be discussing how to achieve the Vanilla Girl Aesthetic. With creams, whites, and light brown hues, the 'vanilla girl' aesthetic is the new 'IT Girl' trend on TikTok, focusing on elegance and femininity. If you want to get an idea of the aesthetic as a whole, I have made a Pinterest board related to all things Vanilla girl linked here.

Makeup

The Vanilla Girl aesthetic is all about the clean and minimal makeup look. To achieve the perfect makeup look you have to be as natural as possible and only use the makeup to enhance your features. Use products like skin tints or CC creams, cream/liquid blushes (powdered blush can sometimes look a bit cakey), tinted lip balm, and neutral-coloured eyeshadows. These are the products I would recommend : Summer Fridays Skin Tint, YSL Touche éclat (High Coverage) concealer, Laniege Lip Mask, Rare Beauty Liquid Blush, Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm, and Charlotte Tilbury Contour wand.

Hair

Girls part of this aesthetic always find time to make sure their hair is in impeccable condition. They always make sure that their hair is neat, and clean, and smells amazing at all times. You can choose your scent/perfume however I would recommend something on the vanilla-y side. Here are the products I would recommend : KOHA Beauty Handmade Soap Bar, Philosophy vanilla bean shampoo, OUAI Detox Shampoo, Gisou Hair perfuume, Bamboo Hairbrush, and Gisou Hair Oil.

Skincare

The most important step to achieving the vanilla girl aesthetic is SKINCARE. It is essential to have a simple but effective morning and night skincare routine. You do not need a ten-step overly complicated skincare routine. With a good moisturiser, cleanser, sunscreen, and serum (for the night) you're good to go. The products are linked below : Kielh's moistruiser, SOME BY MI Cleanser, Beauty of Josean Sunscreen, innisfree Green Tea Serum, and Tatcha lip mask.

Outfits

The Vanilla girl aesthetic outfits are comfortable, easy to wear, and feminine. Try to avoid bold colours like red, blue, green, etc as the vanilla girl aesthetic focuses more on neutral and vanilla- inspired hues. Here are some examples.

Hairstyle

The Vanilla girl aesthetic hairstyle is very simple, feminine, and elegant. You can either put your hair up in a messy bun or a claw for a more relaxed look. Try adding a ribbon or bow to your half-up half-down hairstyle for a more fancy look.
